How do we ensure that Binah delivers a quality product consistently?

Setting a consistent standard across our projects is key. How we show up each day matters, and constantly improving our process gives our people the tools to perform at a high level.

Our top priority at Binah is the end user. How can we create a better experience and provide reassurance for people that will live in the homes we build?

We build each apartment as if building for a friend or family member. This constantly motivates us to ensure attention to detail and bring high-level care to each dwelling. The end-user experience is key, and ensuring customers settle, move in, and have after-sales support is just as important as setting up the crane in the beginning.

Quality in construction also extends to our partnerships and how we interact with clients, subbies, consultants, and our team. Why are quality relations with our partners so important?

Building projects bring many consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors together, working towards the same outcome. You can only achieve this by developing partnerships and having shared goals. We believe in collaborative and open communication underpinned with trust to shape our partnerships.

How do you stay focused and consistently guide your team to be industry leaders in quality delivery?

Our commitment to being industry leaders drives us to continually strive for improvement. We achieve this by aligning our goal-setting process throughout the entire business, ensuring a unified vision.

Our dedication is further reinforced by conducting monthly workshops with project team leaders. To facilitate progress, we create comprehensive action plans that outline step-by-step tasks required each month to reach our objectives. Additionally, we rely on robust processes, guaranteeing consistency and maintaining a high standard of delivery.

By implementing these strategies, we remain at the forefront of our industry and consistently exceed expectations.

How do you balance holding your team accountable while providing them with the support and resources they need to succeed?

We believe in providing our teams with the necessary tools and guidance to achieve Binah’s vision of being industry leaders. We prioritise regular check-ins and reporting to ensure that we are making progress and that they have support every step of the way.

Why is Binah a great place to grow a career?

Over the past few years, it has been a difficult time in the construction industry; what opportunities have come from the uncertainty?

The last few years have tested our resolve, but at this same time, providing opportunities to become more efficient in our work practices, innovative in our building methods, streamline our systems, and focus on quality in design prior to construction.


What does the ICIRT evaluation process encompass?

The iCIRT evaluation process assesses six key areas: Capability, Conduct, Character, Capacity, Capital, and Counterparties. This rating is established through a comprehensive review of data sources, including project specifics, performance records, insurance claims, licenses, awards, financial information, etc. This process has resulted in an unbiased yet robust assessment of Binah’s risk exposure and credit reliability, offering purchasers sound information to help make informed decisions.

What does a gold star rating mean for Binah?

iCIRT reaffirms Binah’s commitment to quality delivery. We have been formally acknowledged for our dedication to excellence in construction.

What advice would you give to an intelligent, driven student about to enter the construction industry? What advice should they ignore?

Ignore advice that says you can’t achieve. Work hard, ask questions, be kind, and always seek to add value. If you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything in this industry.
